CENTRAL GAUL. Aedui. Circa 80-50 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 15 mm, 1.99 g, 11 h), 'à la tête casquée - au torque' type. Helmeted head of Roma to right. Rev. Celticized horse galloping left; around, three (?) annulets. DT -, cf. 3186-3190 (all with head of Roma to left). LT -, cf. 5252 (head of Roma to left). A very rare variety. Very fine.
